Are You Ready for GA4?

In October 2020, Google announced it would be closing Universal Analytics, the data backbone for hundreds of thousands of websites across the internet – including many of our radio partners. In it’s place, a new solution called Google Analytics 4 was announced and businesses who used UA needed to switch by July 1st, 2023 or face looking at losing valuable data about website visitors.

Why Do I Need Google Analytics 4? (or Google Analytics at all?)

Google Analytics 4 has several advantages:

  • Privacy-focused and durable for the future
  • Intelligent, using machine learning to unearth insights about the customer journey across platforms and devices
  • Enhanced, seamless integrations with Google’s advertising platforms to optimize campaign performance and drive greater marketing ROI

Google Analytics provides helpful insights and gives you a complete understanding of your website visitors across devices and platforms. It can automatically alert you to significant trends in your data, and can even help you anticipate future actions your website visitors may take.

How Do I Upgrade?

If you created your own Google Analytics account and would like to continue using it, you’ll be responsible for upgrading your account to the new Google Analytics 4.
