Hello,
We’d like to provide you with important updates regarding recent changes at X (formerly Twitter) that may impact your experience on the platform.
Publishing Tweets
Recent updates at X have affected the rate limits for tweets, impacting users’ ability to post via the SoCast social publishing tool. As a workaround, we recommend posting directly on X for now.
X Preview Card
According to multiple reports X is planning a significant change in how link preview cards are displayed, potentially showing only the link and header image without any accompanying headline or description.
Currently, an X card for a news article or a blog post shows the headline and summary text (just on the web) along with the header image of a post. However, if the proposed change comes through, X will only show the image with a link in a post. That means if a publication or a blog doesn’t post any accompanying text with the link, users will only see the link and the image for that article.
Currently there is no timeline for when these changes may be implemented.

According to multiple reports, X may transition to a paid subscription-only service , we are currently monitoring this situation.
