Hello!
Today we released an exciting and much requested enhancement for blog featured image previews. You can now edit and crop the featured image for the blog list, Facebook preview and Twitter card preview.
The preview image is the image that appears when someone shares a link with an image, like a blog post to Facebook or Twitter.
To access this feature, first upload an image to the ‘featured image’ section within the blog post, and then click ‘crop thumbnails’.
From there, click on the image preview you want to edit/crop and use the tool on the right, click ‘save crop’ once done.

The new Facebook image share adheres to Facebook’s preview size of 1200 x 630px.

The new Twitter image share adheres to Twitter’s preview size of 1024 x 512px.

You will also see a new feature that refreshes the Facebook preview image, once the post is published. If for some reason the Facebook preview image is not displaying, or if you’ve recently updated the blog’s featured image, then you can click ‘Refresh Facebook Preview’ until you see the desired image.
